Mrs. Ortega has encouraged her students to set goals and think about their futures. Her students have a Bug Future!
Ms. Rendon will be exploring career paths with our students during Mindful Moments on Friday. Learning about careers helps students set goals and build motivation for school as they think about their futures.
SIS will host a Career Day in May. Community members will highlight different careers.

The Regional Spelling Bee hosted at Hardin Simmons University was this morning. SISD was well represented by Sweetwater lntermediate, fourth grader Londyn Johnson and Sweetwater Middle schooler (former SIS student) Brenda Montemayor. Brenda placed third at the competition. We are so proud of both students.

Mustang Family,
I wanted to offer a quick update on the phones. Partial phone service has been restored and we are now able to make and accept external calls. Please be patient as our available lines are limited and we are operating on a "soft phone" system. You may still email info@sweetwaterisd.net if you are unable to reach your campus.
Thank you,
Sonya Davison, Director of Technology
