Celebrating Black History Month at Sweetwater ISD
This month, we honor the achievements, resilience, and contributions of Black leaders, innovators, and changemakers. At Sweetwater ISD, we encourage our students to explore history, engage in meaningful conversations, and be inspired by the individuals who have shaped our world.
February is CTE Month!
At Sweetwater ISD, we’re celebrating Career and Technical Education and the incredible opportunities it provides for students to gain real-world skills. We can’t wait to take CTE to the next level when our state-of-the-art Puckett and Dudensing Career & Technical Education Center opens this August! Stay tuned for more updates as we prepare to empower students for success in high-demand careers.
Reminder: No School Today
Students will have the day off as our teachers and staff take part in an Inservice Day. However, the Sweetwater ISD Child Care Center will be open. We’ll see everyone back in class on Wednesday!

We were deeply saddened to receive news of the death of one of our staff members, Melody Squires. Melody was an employee of Sweetwater ISD for over 45 years. Our thoughts are with Melody's family and friends.
